Hamburg's smallest luxury hotel is hidden behind a snow-white facade built in the late 1800s. 50m to the Aussen Alster, just a few minutes to the city, to the CCH Congress Centre and to the Hamburg Fair. It has been family-owned for many years. That this fact expresses itself both in its attitude towards guests and in its dedication to the profession is one of the pleasant characteristics with which the Aussen Alster Hotel surprises its guests. This is also reflected in the care and meticulous attention to detail with which restoration and renovation work was carried out in recent years. In furnishing and outfitting our rooms and baths, we have consciously dispensed with trying to achieve the lowest common denominator and have instead given preference to clear lines and uncompromising modernity. Form follows function, modern colors predominate, and there is no point in looking for plush and pomp. For we do not regard it as our task to appeal to the taste of as many people as possible.
