The Jewish Museum Berlin is attracting an increasing number of visitors. With a total of 703 143 visitors in 2004, the museum has reached its highest annual visitation rate so far. In total, 2 300 812 people have visited the museum since it opened in 2001. The museum is housed in a remarkable building designed to intimidate visitors, features dynamic exhibits on Jewish culture in Germany, particularly during the reign of the Third Reich.
